Personalize Your Children’s Paintable Boots with Stencils – a DIY Activity

Do-it-yourself projects are an inexpensive way of creating things for the house or for personal uses, and they are definitely more fun to do with the family as a weekend bonding activity. The team behind My Design came up with the perfect DIY bonding activity for your entire family – the ‘make your own boots’ project!

Don’t worry if you changed your mind about the design of your boots because our Magical Paints can easily be erased by using our Magical Eraser Pads. Afterwards, you can re-paint and re-design until the desired effect has been achieved.

If you have other designs in mind for your custom boots, we’ll help you out by teaching you how to make your own stencils. The steps in making them for your footwear are as follows:

• Materials – cardboard, paper, scissors, newspaper, pencil, sponge, and adhesive. You may replace some of the items with what is available in your house.
• Use a pencil to outline the picture or shapes that you want to paint on the boots.
• Grab the scissors and carefully cut out the picture from the framework. Make sure to assist your child in using the cutting tool.
• To print the stencils, spread the paint over the sponge, one piece for every color. Position the stencil on the boots, paint inside the shape, and then carefully remove the stencil. You can dab some water on one side of the stencil for it to stick better on the surface of the boots.
• You can make as many stencils as you want and try everything on your paintable boots. Don’t be afraid to experiment because you can easily erase and re-paint using our magical paints and erasing pads.
