Showing Off My Own Style with MyDesign Paintable Boots

Hello everyone! My name is Ellie, and I’m a proud fashionista. My mom likes to dress me up, and I do enjoy wearing all the clothes she bought for me. I was happy that there are plenty of dresses that look good on me, but there is this one thing that really got me excited when I received it: a MyDesign Paintable Boots kit!

I was given a chance to make my own boots. I was actually scared to try it at first because I’m not really that good when it comes to painting. What would I do if I paint something I didn’t like? But my mom encouraged me to just play freely with the paintable boots because if I wanted to change something, I can easily erase it with the magic eraser pads!

So there I was, creating my very first custom boots. I was matching it with my favorite green dress with ruffles on the shoulder so I decided to draw grassy patterns, then I added some flowers. I used a bit of purple paint to draw some of the petals, but it didn’t look right, so I used the magic eraser pads with the help of my dad. After lightly rubbing the pad over the area I wanted to redo, we waited for a few seconds before the paint was removed.

Afterwards, we wiped the boots with a wet tissue and soap. After that, I repainted the flower using an orange hue. The boots looked a lot better! After finishing my creative boots, I quickly showed it to my parents and they looked really amazed with what I did!

One time, when I was using the stencils to create a new design, I accidentally bumped my water bottle and water got onto the boots I was painting on! I just looked at it, waiting for the work that I’ve previously made to be destroyed, but the colors didn’t wash off or anything! The paint and the boots were actually waterproof, and I wish I knew that sooner so I didn’t have to panic. Anyway, I’ve made my 5th design already and I’m confident to wear it anywhere without worrying about the weather. I’m happy I can make my own shoes that match my very own style, and I hope other kids get to try it out too.
